WeCruiseToo
Not for me. I diet before and after the cruise so I can indulge without worry while I’m on vacation. This is aboard Holland America’s Eurodam though, so there should be some good stuff in the Culinary Arts Center. HungryGirl
Jan115
Sounds a little absurd, using "weight loss" and "cruise" in the same sentence - LOL! A spa vacation would be more appropriate in my mind. HungryGirl
WeCruiseToo
I’m glad there are cruises for every interest. I wonder if this will be a full ship charter though? I’m sure the weight loss food will be delicious, but I can’t imagine sticking to it while everyone at the next table is enjoying the normal cruise ship meals! Jan115
It doesn't look like a charter. It's the Eurodam 1/28/17, and unless the reservation status changes, it's still open for booking to the public. I agree, if it was a charter, and the ship had a designated menu for this particular group, maybe it would be something to look at. But, like you guys, I like to enjoy food on my cruise with no calorie counting. HungryGirl
Shari2
Sounds like a wonderful, and interesting cruise...something I could use with the weight loss info and all, but like the others I usually don't worry about eating on a cruise...I sometimes even lost weight because of all the walking that I'm not used to doing. Might be a problem for me now though if I have to use a scooter instead of doing all the walking...LOL I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy this cruise...it reminds me of when Richard Simmons had some of his weight loss cruises. Jan115
Hungry Girl, thanks for setting me straight. It was the food junkie in me talking. Of course, you're right - learning a healthy way of cruising would do us all some good - maybe I could leave behind those few extra pounds I tend to find very time. I'm unable to make the Hungry Girl cruise, but I hope you will join us on our upcoming Norway and Panama group cruises - you could be our personal trainer!
