walkie talkies aboard cruise ships.

We will be taking 2 grandaughters on a cruise and would like to be able to keep in touch with them. Can someone recommend a good walkie talkie that will work within the steel frame of the ship?

Hi Tim!  What ship will you be sailing and how old are the girls?  There may be options other than walkie talkies.

Carnival Liberty and girls are 12 and 14.

So I’m guessing they each have their own phone.  You can download the Carnival Hub app for free, then sign up for the “chat” feature on board for just $5.00 per device.  Should be cheaper than buying radios and save the girls a little embarrassment.
