Thanks for the great review, John - sounds like a wonderful week.  Does MSC still allow smoking in the staterooms or on the balconies?  The last time we checked on them, they did, which caused us to shy away.  If they have updated their policy perhaps we can consider them again.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on MSC Seaside. It looks like a very unique and innovative ship. Did you get that that look and feel of a "condo"  like the reviewer described in the CruiseCrazies news article from the other day?

No smoking in staterooms or balconies.  Only in designated areas.

It does back aft, where the suites go all the way up and overlook the pool.  Condo Envy, as the billboard in Miami says!

Wonderful review, John...thank you for sharing with us.  I am happy to hear the good news about MSC...in the past have heard not so great reviews.  With this review I would not hesitate to sail with them.
