We prefer wines with Cabernet Savignon blende with a little merlot, or Cabernet franc, or even a little petit Verdot.  Those usually come from The Medoc or Haut-Medoc areas.  We loved the St Emillion reds and the wine from Côte de Bourg.

Hubby likes Cabernet Savignon or Merlot...the blende sounds really good.  I usually like the Chardonnay but am looking for a nice red wine.  Thanks for sharing.  We are not wine experts, this would be a great cruise, not only to see the beauty of France,  and all, but to taste all the great wines.
