scalise12
This question is almost is why. What do you think about someone, wearing a Baseball Cap while eating dinner in the dining room, or any type of a Hat. Wonder where is their manners went!!! We have asked many times in a nice way if they can remove the Hat and if they say NO.. Than we ask the Head Waiter if we can be moved, How do you fell about this subject????? Jason
Hey John, great question. What are the cruise line policies on hats in the dining room?
scalise12
All cruise lines has policy on dining etiquette in place for dining, and the policy does has a section what not to wear during dining time, and yes proper attire is strongly suggestive... Jason
Totally in favor of following each individual cruise line’s policy.
NancyF
Maybe there is a reason for the hat ... some people are self conscience of being bald - or maybe there was a surgery and remaining scar...
scalise12
Maybe, OK! But what about men who are not Bald, Or had Surgery... It's just not cool...

Wecome to Cruise Crazies, NancyF - so nice to see you posting! Yes, people may have issues that are not readily apparent - thank you for the reminder. I do try to think of things like that...but have to admit that if there are no underlying issues, it would be much more pleasant to not see baseball caps in the dining room. But if the cruise line or personnel are okay with it, than I just have to "let that go", lol! NancyF
