Great Lakes Cruises

Hello All Cruise Crazies, Just wonder and to get fed back, Has anyone take a Great Lake Cruise???

I keep looking at this cruise because I would love to take it - but man, it is expensive (IMHO!)

Have never done a cruise like this...would be great.  Did take a boat ride on Lake Superior once...LOL  And also did a crazy thing once in Duluth/MN/Superior, Wi.  We have cargo ships coming in to Lake Superior, and once when I was  young and stupid, my girlfriend and I were by the lake and a large cargo ship was there with a ladder that seemed to go up forever, straight up.  My friend said lets climb up and get on the ship.  Told her she was crazy...anything could happen to us, they could take off and take us who knows where.  Well, she said she was going up, so I couldn't let her go alone...we climbed up the ladder which took forever, and then got on the ship...we looked around for awhile and then saw someone and said to each other...Go...the climb down wasn't any easier...LOL  Doesn't relate to this post, but just remembered some of the crazy things we do when we are young.  Lucky to be alive here...LOL  Anyway, cruising the great lakes would be great.  Also would love to take a river cruise from right here in MN.  Would love to cruise the Mississippi river from St. Paul to New Orleans...that one would take awhile and be very expensive.
