It seems two members of the crew went overboard while working on a lifeboat. Below is the link tot he story. Explorer of the Seas Two crew members, reportedly working on a lifeboat on the Explorer of the Seas, fell from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship near Victoria last evening, according to News 1130. zebra
Oh my gosh, I never even heard that on the news. Thank heavens they were rescued.
ExpatCruise
Yes it almost seems like it was covered up. The Explorer of the Seas has a cable lift hooked tot he small boat. It looks like they are trying to lift the boat using a crane sling, but Explorer is underway, so the lifting of a boat is not allowed with crew or passengers on the boat being lifted. Several other boats are with a 100 meters. The cable from Explorer causes the small boat to flip on a wave and to crew members fall out of the small boat. Here is a video from a passenger on the ship. https://twitter.com/etrepum/status/1020347128629956610?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1020347128629956610&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cruiselawnews.com%2F
