Have you cruised MSC?

We have cruised most main line cruise lines, except NCL and MSC.  I wondered what others thought about their MSC cruise. Would you recommend it and if so, why?

Hey Jackie and Tony, great to see you.

I haven't cruised MSC and don't know a ton yet about the cruise line ...but from what I've read and heard so far ... they are trying to enter the US market with a splash and have been pretty innovative with their ships.  They don't have a ton of ships in US ports so far, but more are on the way.

Interested to hear if you end up cruising with MSC and how it goes.

Thanks Jason for that info.  I have been wondering if they have more of a European flair or if they will adapt the "American way" for the cruises sailing from the USA.

Can’t speak for their style on US routes but it does seems they are upping their game so to speak as reviews I’ve seem lately are better. A culture of CS takes time to develope and in the past they seemed woeful in this regard.

Hmmmm that's what I was thinking. Although we do have friends that say this is their new favorite cruise line.

Many years ago NCL got dismal reviews but as we know that’s changed dramatically so perhaps so for MSC too. You have to be competitive or you won’t get the business
