St. Maarten Water Taxis

When we visit St. Maarten, we always go via Water Taxi to Philipsburg and enjoy spending time at the waterfront. Here's some photos of our last visit on MSC Seaside. What's your favorite thing to do there?

We like to walk around Phillipsburg, enjoy a "local" meal and also travel to the French side where it's much quieter and less crazy.  Because we live close to the beach and go whenever we please, we seldom just have "beach time" when on vacation. Love the flavors of the islands .......

We also take the water taxi and walk around Phillipsburg...we walk Front Street one way and then the boardwalk back.  We usually stop for a beer along the beach and then later find a place for a great lunch.

We think St. Maarten has done a great job of making visitors feel welcome. Let's hope all the islands get spared the wrath of any hurricanes this year.
